Xara3D screensavers and WinXP SP-2 issue

Just tested on windowsxp sp2 Geforce 5600 works fine.

Yea the black screen is all i get. That's what happens. I don't know what's causing that. Just out of curiousity I exported my logo to a AVI, then took one of the *.scr files i exported before , opened it in ResHack and replaced the avi resource in the *.src with the working AVI i just exported. Saved it and then checked it in the Display Properties. Works fine that way. So it exports/encodes to the AVI fine. Just something goes wrong when exporting to a screen saver. Go figure.

sounds like a problem with the install? Have you tried bemoving X3D6 and reinstalling?

Yea it has been uninstalled and reinstalled many times.

okay... I am outa ideas... Maybe the folks at xara can shed some light on this. I am glad mine works.
