Way back in the fab 60's we had some letters that spelled our names, kids toys. Anyway, they were coated in this plastic wrap material that was cusioned away from the letters - if you see what I mean, and this reminds me of them.

Thanks for the comments. Indeed the letter is
wrapped in transparent plastic wrapper, as you can
see the soft outline holding the emboss letter against the background.
Before I came to use Gimp, I can never imagine how an open source program which cost nothing can
be used to produce this type of Eye-Candy stuff, which would have cost a small bomb if Photoshop is
the program used.. 8-)
