Animated GIF tutorial?

I was looking at a site last night with some tutorials, one of which was called "animated GIF" and it was all matrix-ish looking text that on mouse-over went fuzzy for a sec, then returned to normal. The link i bookmarked for it was http://user.fundy.net/morris/redirec...toshop16.shtml - i think. Anyways, now it isnt working and id really like to know if anyone knows how to do this effect, any help would be muchly appreciated.

the page you mentioned is a redirect secure html page, so by trying out "morris" I got in.
