Does anyone have experience using the mini-itx form-factor PC's that are coming on to the market , as illustrated here:

I work on an offshore oil platform in the North Sea, and I have been looking for a portable PC to take out there. I don't really want to lug an expensive laptop back-and-forth. I would be quite happy carrying just the PC (such as the tiny Sumicom) leaving a keyboard, mouse and monitor offshore.

My main concern is whether such machines would offer decent enough performance for XaraX given their "integrated" type of component design (although I do notice that they offer P III CPU's).

I'd quite like an OQO linked in an earlier forum,
but it would probably be expensive, besides, I can't hold my breath that long!
