I prefer this to stained glass for removing white, as you can remake bitmaps from it without the color shifts stained glass sometimes produces

ok so 2d issue with doing the transparency methos is that i get a message when i preview my flash saying that "The following cannot be exported:Frame 2: Complex fill with non-flat transparency." so when i click ok it shows the flash animation but the white border is still there just slightly transparent but nonetheless still visible.
