(such as AI or EPS).
Save XARA3D to SWF (vector format).
Then using the FREE program Flash Exploit:

convert the SWF to SVG format.
It can then be imported into either Adobe
Illustrator or the FREE SVG editing program,
Inkscape:

(I've tried both Flash Exploit and Inkscape with static (un-animated)
SWF and SVG images. I have no idea, if or how well they work with
either animated (exported Xara3d) SWF or SVG images.
