Dear Painter Folks,

Jeremy Sutton has very kindly written a tutorial explaining how to make
Painter 7's Dry Media and other Grainy brush variants bahave better with
Paper textures.

Until I moved it from PixelAlley's Painter 7 Findings - Tips and Facts
page this morning, there was a series of Test Steps that Jeremy wrote,
and Sample Image, so we could see how these brushes were behaving
differently in Painter 7. The entry is still there minus the Test Ssteps
and Sample Image.

Now there's a link to a new page that contains the Test Steps, Sample
Image, and the Solution Tutorial. If you'd like to take a look, first go
to:

http://www.pixelalley.com/tutorials/...-findings.html

Scroll down the page 'til you find:

"A Gift from Jeremy Sutton
Brushes React Differently to Paper Texture in Painter 7 -
Test Steps and Solution
written by Jeremy Sutton - posted 9/3/01"

Below that there's the "CLICK HERE" line. That'll take you to the new
page.

When you've finished, click the link back to Painter 7 Findings - Tips
and Facts at the bottom of the page and see if there's anything new you
haven't read yet. I just posted some new things tonight about Masks for
normal Image Layers, Water Color Layers, and Liquid Ink Layers (oops!
there aren't any for Liquid Ink Layers.. did you know that?).

Also, there's another new bit about Printing to Epson printers and
getting crummy prints.. with a workaround.

Have a great week, everyone!
