Hi Mike,
In the non-xara gallery there are a couple great moon shots. You might want to use one of them for your background.

Its as close to the real(?) thing as I think I can get
Well actually, I have one parking at my back yard, and it's not very close to what you've done... but I think that's just Toyota's modification - you didn't put a sign who's the manufacturer... Ford, Mazda, Toyota... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I drawn in XaraX/Xara3D and again in XaraX. I have one problem in this project - how I can skew the headstock?(as i'm not familiar withX3D -I placed rendered PNG file in XaraX to slice it and add the little details) Certainly, this simple image too far from your X-wings and probably you can help me, yeah? (Thanks)
Alexander
Hello Alexander,
Yes, I remember admiring your ukelele images in the XaraX forum.
Are you hoping to create the whole ukelele in Xara3D? I think that will present several difficulties, especially with making and positioning the tapering neck. I will have to play with this for a while.
If you already have the ukelele in Xara3D, and just need to skew the headstock, you can do that if you are not already using an animation to position some parts, and if the joint between the headstock and the neck of the ukelele lies over, say, the y-axis.
To skew the headstock, apply a Swing2 animation with 4 frames, 1 frame per second, and 0 degrees angle, to your ukelele. Run the animation, and pause it at frame 2. Then select the headstock only, and set the angle to 30 degrees. You may need to reverse the angle, and select the correct the axis to rotate around.
This may work, depending on how you have set up your ukelele in X3D. In the meantime, I will have a play with it and see what I can come up with.
Cheers,
Mike
Hello Mike
Yesterday I've tried to create my ukelele in X3D,
almost successfully, but I cannot align the headstock with the neck, it's always walking somewhere behind the neck. It looks like I should to draw some sizing dots as you do it. Unfortunately I cannot post my image here, I don't know why (in XaraX forum I haven't problems). But I hope you understand my troubles http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
Regards
Alexander
