Is it possible to rotate multiple objects in parallel?

I mean, I have five squares. Rotate one of them and the same rotation angle is applied individually to all the other squares.

I take it you want the squares to each rotate about their centres and not rotate as a block.

If they are genuine squares (Rectangle tool), select all and switch to the Rectangle tool then pick the Rotation option and input your value.

Live Copies would also work if you have this feature.

For your stated product, all else I can suggest is to select all your squares, clone and rotate.
Then with Snap to objects, drag each one back onto the centre of its parent.
Finally, delete the originals.
