I agree, but Tim says Designer Pro X later in the thread. Whichever, it could be the versions are older and aren't compatible, but something's clearly not matching.
Yes, I wish I could lay claim to the 80's pop art, but they belong to someone with talent and flair instead. I used them because they were high up in the alphabetical order of my pictures folder.
Hi,
First off I'm overwhelmed with the help here. Its really appreciated and I will be building on the great demos provided. They look the way to go.
One thing I have noticed is that Xara no longer has the web viewer built in. It just opens Chrome. So its harder to open in it in say edge or firefox. Before it was an option at the top.
Is this a setting thing?
Tim
I've uploaded to one of my sites. Try viewing directly instead of previewing. >>> Timbox Site <<<
Let us know if that works by resizing Chrome. You can always use Edge and/or a mobile to the same effect.
Chris's demo works in Chrome, Firefox and Edge with Pro x v18.0. Tim, you have to copy the URL from your preferred browser to the other browsers now - no IE preview.
No it's the new norm. It just opens in the browser you set as default. Mine opens in Firefox. Whilst it freesfrom the outdated us from the outdated IE it's a pain because it isn't simple to test sites in other browsers and secondly you soon end up with multiple windows open.
