For many problems there are simple and easy-to-understand solutions that do not work.
XDP has 3D capabilities of sorts.

reinhard, it isn't included.
It is a rip-off price at £30, while the gutted Xara Web Designer is £5 more than this.
X3D is a gimmicky gadget in modern web design that has some uses but if the display has little content or meaning for the site, you have lost the audience to more eye candy.
Yes, the main Xara Desktop applications have limited animation and 3D capability but I would spend time or money or web animation through CSS or SVG instead.

Mine has 3D capabilities I know X3D and X3DMaker are separate programs never the less XDP does have albeit limited 3Dsuch as extrude, lights, angle. If rsrsrs wants true 3D this none of these are the way to go.

XDP has 1 way 3D extrusion - you can extrude text and shapes. I actually use it in some of my maps to create the sense of elevated walls. But no, you cannot create the kind of rotating 3D text created in Xara's 3D program - I use real 3D programs for my 3D needs (Wings 3D for modeling, Vue Creator, and/or Blender 2.8).
Here's how I use XDP's one-way 3D extrusion in my maps - look at the walls.

Just to be clear, and as pointed out by Larry, I presume that the OP means Xara 3D Maker 7 and not the 3D extrusion feature in Xara DPX and P&GD.
This is a standalone program and does indeed do 3D animation of titles and other rudimentary objects. You can see more in this TG forum as the 3D Maker part is right below Xara Graphics Chat and there are some excellent examples. You can export the animation as a GIF, SWF or AVI file and use it on a web site or in a video editing program.
Magix includes 3D Maker 7 (it says Magix 3D Maker but copyright is Xara under About) in PhotoStory, Movie Edit Pro and Video Pro X, along with a load of template titles.
In PhotoStory and Movie Edit Pro, you can only change the text, as the program does not load. Video Pro X comes with access to the full version and inserting one of the template files opens it in the interface allowing you to edit it however you want. You can only open 3D Maker from within Video Pro X, not as a standalone.
When closed (with animation turned on) the X3D object shows up on the timeline.
Below is my avatar as a GIF done using Xara DPX and 3D Maker. I hope the GIF works as it doesn't as my avatar. Edit: it doesn't.
Too late now, but there was a HumbleBundle offering 3D Maker 7 for $1 and I picked it up, so I also have the standalone version.
