I've given up. Maybe they'll fix the currency (lack of) support before v17 is ready for prime time.
I should just qualify my "lack of" comment... I have had a few email contacts with a support woman in the US, but like most support people these days, she either doesn't read past the first line or just doesn't understand the issue, which is that when I am passed on to PayPal the price to be paid is higher because it's the same numerical amount in US Dollars which are worth more than Aussie Dollars.
Is anyone at Xara reading this? I imagine that you signed up with Magix to get more sales. Making the payment process confusing, convoluted and defective resulting in overcharging will have the opposite result. I buy software from several other vendors and never suffer the cr@p and wasted time that is my current Xara experience.
