I made a model kit of one of these when I was a kid. I ruined the tail cone and loved the folding wings. Mine had a deep blue upper colour scheme. Navy blue I guess.
I think these would have made a great little model with their opening tail cone and folding wings.

Thanks Gary, I tried to add a little drama to it.
It was my favourite, but I used too much glue and ended up melting part of the tail cone.
Your next challenge is having the buccaneer come in to land on the deck of a carrier..
For anyone that doesn't realise, the Buccaneer was designed in the late 1950s for carrier use and did a variety of roles in conjunction with the navy and even took part in the first gulf war. Definitely a tough old bird.
