XARA GOES CLOUD, AND SECURES GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION OF ITS DESKTOP PRODUCTS WITH PARTNER, MAGIX SOFTWARE

Xara signs a worldwide distribution agreement for its desktop products with MAGIX Software, and will continue driving forward its new cloud solution.

Xara has always led the desktop publishing industry with award-winning solutions and will now be doing the same with a revolutionary new rich content creation and collaboration SaaS platform for businesses. As the launch nears in early 2018, Xara has entered into a worldwide sales, marketing, and distribution partnership for its desktop products with MAGIX Software GmbH.

As of October 23rd, 2017 MAGIX will be the worldwide distribution partner for Xara Web Designer, Xara Page & Layout Designer, Xara Photo & Graphic Designer and Xara Designer Pro.

The MAGIX team has a unique expertise in selling desktop software and we feel confident that they will service existing customers, and develop new channels extremely well.” said Xara CEO, Matt Bolton.

Existing Xara customers will benefit from the strengthening of this partnership and will not see any interruption to their software and support. All new license purchases, upgrades, and renewals will be a familiar process through MAGIX channels. Xara will continue to deliver exciting new features and releases of these desktop products.

WILL YOU STILL BE DEVELOPING YOUR DESKTOP PRODUCTS?Absolutely, we will continue to release exciting new features and performance improvements on the Xara Designer titles. In fact, desktop version 15 will be released in the next two months with customer requested features of today.

WILL MY LOGIN STILL WORK?

You should continue to log in, purchase, upgrade or renew with the same email address and password, unless you have both a Xara account and a MAGIX account (ie you have purchased something from MAGIX), in which case you should use the email address and password of your MAGIX account in future.

WILL MY SERIAL NUMBER STILL WORK?

Yes, your serial number is unaffected, as it is your activation record and Update Service status.

WHAT ABOUT THE XARA AFFILIATE PROGRAM?

The Xara Affiliate program is now closed, however the Xara products are already included in the MAGIX Affiliate program, which offer similarly attractive terms. Find out More.
