This refers to the Scale to Fit Webpage option, available with the Supersite option.
I do not recommend this unless your pages are in a square format. If you have a long or longish page and you have opted for Scale page to fit, everything on a cell phone will be too small to read.
I would go with the variant option. A normal size and a 480 variant do very well for desktop and mobile devices.
Also, mobile content should be edited for a slower bandwidth.

Hi,
Thanks that helps I only just figured out the Variant on Templates.
So have selected Lycan as a start.
Dumb question, but when you say 'Normal Size & 480 Variant' are you referring to the Page Size.
Mine comes up Custom 760px x 1034 px and then I can select from the Page Size drop down.
Is this what you are referring to as the Mobile one is set to 480?
M
Yes, sorry, the mobile variant is 480pix. On my 7" tablet, the portrait orientation shows the 480 variant and landscape shows the desktop browser size.

If using a template I guess it loads both.
So does it automatically know when to use mobile or desktop?
To quote from my First Look reviewNow, when you publish your website and Variant (or Variants), Web Designer 10 Premium publishes everything to the same folder. A CSS Media Query automatically ensures the right Variant displays in the right screen size.
