How do I enter symbols like 'PI' or the degree symbol ° into Xara?
(I had to use Word and copy/paste)
I found the old symbols posts but do you have to use a list of alt-numbers to get symbols? The Word-way would be faster.
thanks

There are some easier symbols such as Ctrl Alt c = ©, but mathematical symbols you'll have to use the Alt method, Alt 0176 = °.
You can use the Character Map utility Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools. And there are some fonts that are math specific. Using the Character Map (pin it to your task bar for quick access), find the symbol you need, Copy it to the clipboard, and Paste it into your text in Xara.
