I use a Wacom Intuos and I like it.
Kind regards,

Be cordless, re-invent the Rose.
I've used a Wacom Intuos A4 tablet for a couple of years now, and think it's brilliant!
The support is reasonable, too - every so often they produce updated drivers with lots of little refinements.
The only downside is quirky behaviour in the odd programme (Ulead PhotoImpact 7 being one....)
Go for it!
I use my Wacom 6x8" Intuos and LOVE it. Don't give it a second thought. They are awesome.

I've been using an Aiptek tablet for years and love it (except that the pen uses a battery) - it cost me $99
You can also get a Wacom Graphire for less that $99.

Tried the cheaper tablets, found good deals for them and Wacom on E-Bay (Search for: tablets) but allas I went into $300.00 worth of debt and own an Intuos II 5 X 8 and I like much better. Good for fine detail work and the like. Hasn't paid for itself yet, but I'm sure over time it will.
If you get one, FOLLOW the instuctions to the "T". I run Win2000 and it was a **itch to get the drivers loaded. So be careful and if you have problems call tech support. I didn't and, well, don't want to scare you, but "not pretty"!!
Wacom all the way!!!

I bought a reconditioned one from Wacom's website. I was surprised that it appeared brand new. It has worked flawlessly.

Costco ... www.costco.com .... sells the smallest of the wacom tablets. Even with shipping costs, they can be bought for a few dollars less than standard retail.
