transferring swatch libraries from Photoshop 6 to Illustrator 10

Does anyone know how to move a swatch library fro Photoshop to Illustrator? I made a screen capture of the PSD pallatte and placed it in Illustrator: the illustrator eyedropper doesn't see the placed colours. Is the problem rgb to cmyk? Illustrator can't understand the file format when the library is exported from PSD to the program swatch file in Illustrator.
Aany ideas?

It is possible to save in the pallet format, and read the file with XPal. Then save to a PAL that is editable as a text file. You can save in EPS, too. I found the Photoshop PALs non accessable, but the PALS from XPal to solve that problem. Rich
