Hi Anas,

The first one seems to display on my PC with no problem.
Try this new upload:
The left hand still image shows the start postion etc. The circle/square is made up of 5 shapes. The 4 segments are flipped inwards on the right side position so that the circle flaps are slowly removed from sight to reveal the square. This gives a smoother transition.

Yes that is a much smoother transition. Well done.
BTW: The file plays on your computer fine because you actually have the file on your PC. If you look at your post#10 you will see that there is no actual .swf attachment for that post, hence the error.
I'd say there likely was a transfer glitch when you first uploaded. Thanks for reposting

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
I would imagine that the four segments that are outside the square are motion tweened behind the square as the whole is tweened along the path giving the impression of transformation
I like that Anas

Thanks Larry,
Upload your .XAR and one of us will be able to see where you are going wrong.

I can get this far but then I don't know how you curved the sides in.
I have worked and worked on this since my last post but sorry I just don't get it.

Larry, my object was made up of '5 shapes':
1 square
4 segments
I did not use a circle as you have done. My 4 segments make up the outside of the circle while the square fills the inside.

Thanks salaam,
Just so you know, I did it! So here is my anim. Hope I did OK.
