Very good work, Anas. How did you achieve the shape in Xara3D?

Anas, you continue to amaze me. Like Bill I too would like to know the details of this creation.

Thanks lads,
It was quite easy really. They were constructed in the 'ripple' animation option. All objects made from different sized circle vector shapes, except the pen clip (both shapes shown in purple). The straight cylinder shapes are formed using the 'round' bevel setting while the bulging cylinder shapes are formed with the 'curved' bevel setting. The pen clip was formed using the 'rolled' bevel setting. The stripey 'reflection' that appears on all the components is a texture.
The chrome pen was put through XPE pro.
Anas
Thanks Anas, that is very clever.

Extremely clever! I sit here chuckling at his remark: "It was quite easy really."

But it is easy!
Nice pens, Anas, a simple idea well executed.

Thanks Mike,
I once made a pencil (hexagon extruded) for a website. It took me a long time to finish the sharpened end in X1 as it was impossible to complete in X3D (to my knowledge). Some things are very basic but extremely effective in X3D.

All objects made in X3D, arranged and touched up in XX.
