Default Light Colors not possible in Xara3D?

Hi, folks, I hope someone can help me here. I just bought Xara3D, to complement my Xara Xtreme, but already I am kind of confused by something.

I want to create some 3D text that is a light gray in color. However, I can't find any way to have light-colored objects/text/whatever in Xara3D. Even when I try to make it the lightest color possible, it still comes out very very dark.

Am I doing something wrong? This seems really really strange to me.

Thanks so much for any help.

Well, I guess I'm answering my own message. I discovered that moving the lights for some reason changes the colors, not just their brightness.

Colours of objects in Xara3D are dependant on both the colour of the object and the colour of the lights illuminating it, and the interaction will also depend on the angle the light strikes the surface of the object. The three lights can each be given a colour from the same colour dialogue that objects use, just use the dropdown menu to select what aspect the colour should apply to.
