Okay Iso I was using the shadow tool and notice that it has a shadow from bottom of the object going backwards. Is there any way to make the shadow go from the top backwards and can you change the rotation of the std shadow?

One approach is to draw the folds in the foreground as separate objects so their shadows fall upon the main tablecloth in the background.
A very CRUDE example is attached. Pick apart the .xar file and examine the fill, transparency, and feathering of each object.
You might also experiment with drawing shadows shapes, the apply feathering and transparency OR feather penstrokes pressure profiles.

use UNGROUP and then you can move the shadow where you would like
-=Bob=-
Another solution using three elements: the outlines, the cloth fold, the shadow. The shadow has a linear gradient applied and is positioned just under the cloth fold. Outlines are on top.
Hope this helps.
Cool, thanks everyone. I will give it a try.
