It's Tuesday lunchtime of "next week" and with no further news of the big announcements yet, I think it's time for some speculation!

I have found three new products from Xara that I think have been previously unmentioned on this forum:

I am kind of hoping they landed an agreement with Dell to offer Xara on their PCs or at least a version that is stripped down or with an expanded free usage-time like 90 days to lure in new customers. With the new plugins capability, something for laying out photos and labeling them would probably attract a lot of potential non-graphic types.

Did you all see the anouncement at the bottom of the main Xara Xtreme page?? Open Source!!

Xara is pleased to announce that it intends to make its flagship graphics product, Xara X (in its latest and greatest incarnation, Xara Xtreme), Open Source. Xara is also working to bring it to the Linux and Mac platforms.
