Looking at several sepia images, I found the hue to be in the same range as copper and brass. The bottom three rows are sepia colors extracted from images. I made blends based on the copper and brass hues that I have been using. I gathered these numbers from photos and scans of the metals. Copper ranges from about 10 to 25. The brass number I used was about 35. A reasonably exact number. I took an image and converted it to gray scale, and used stained glass transparency. Drew a rectangle behind the image, and used the color picker over the blends to find a color. Rich
