Lighting.

Does anyone know where I can find a good resource on setting up 3d lighting,thats has a good indepth explanation of the different lights and their uses and where to set them and why.I have read all the lighting stuff in my manual but I am looking for a broader approach.

One of the best books that I've come across is written by Jeremy Birn ( http://www.3drender.com ) . "Digital Lighting and Rendering" is indepth, easy to digest and one of the best I've seen on the subject. You can preview the first chapter by taking a visit to Jeremy's web site.
