error mess.

Hello, can anyone help with this error message? it first occured when i clicked the save button. i got a error message and I cant remember what it said, something about not being able to read file, I think. I couldn't close the error mess box so I ended up pressing ctl, alt, del. When I started xarax {cd version with 1st patch} back up and tried to open my drawing, i got these two mess,-- Spurrious internal error has occurred.-- And then when i closed that mess box i get this mess, --A read error occured {buffer error} with the file: unknown.-- I'd like to find a way to open this drawing as it was almost complete. ive applied patch 2.2 but it didnt help. any suggestions?

Hi Tom,

Have you looked in the Windows/Temp folder for a file with the same name but with a .bak filename extension? I'm not sure, but I think that the file would need to have been saved successfully at least once before the error occured for there to be a .bak file.
