    Whenever I try to use the batch Export command in the Name Gallery, Xara X consistently crashes with the following serious error:

    "Floating point divide by zero at offset 0x0037DEC3"

    or

    "Floating point exception at offset 0x0037DEC3"

    To recreate the error:

    - Create a new document;
    - Create a rectangle;
    - Create a name for it (e.g. "Rectangle");
    - Open the Name Gallery;
    - In the Used Names section, select the object named "Rectangle";
    - Click the Export button in the Name Gallery;
    - In the pop-up window, select an export location. When you click Apply, Xara X will crash.

    This crash in practice makes the batch export feature useless. Any solution?

    I have version 1.0c CD from Mar 1 2001.

    Thanks!

    Hello

    I got a successful Gif export, then a crash when I tried tif.

    I then got a empty tif, with a crash on another attempt. On third attempt immediate crash.

    XaraX 1.0c

    Tried the above get Floating Point Divide by Zero at 0x0037DEC3. 1.0c CD, Win2K SP1, 128MB, Matrox G200, all background procs. closed, etc.....

    This is also briefly mentioned in Gary's TIFF/TARGA Export Thread. Wait for 1.0D?

    Same here.
    I had the same message when I tried to export .PNGs using names. I had so save the elements I wanted as seperate documents.

    A Bit irritating.

    So will we have a patch to correct this problem? It would be nice for us users to be able to use this feature at all!
