    You could also try Corel Knockout - I find it pretty good. Really depends on what your trying to do though.

    I have Photoshop 7 and Corel 10. From what I have read, anything should be compatible. I was interested in lighting effects and purchased a copy of Mystical Lighting. However, to use it effectively, you really need to have protective masks to apply the effects to correct part of the image. ML works as a plugin the PS, and I wanted something to create accurate masks.

    I ordered Knockout, eventually. I ordered it from a standard supplier, but could never get to the buy it option. I called, and they said they didn't ship to my state. I did order it from another source.
