I have seen several Flash 5 movies where the mouse pointer would not change to the standard "hand with pointing finger" when it is rolled over a button. It just stays in its default state (arrow). Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

That's because it's not a button but a movie clip and all the action script works onclipEvent(mouseDown). So simple
But why in world would you want this effect. This seems to me plain user-unfreandly???

I need to use Flash as a plug-in for an Authorware peice. The application being simulated was written with Visual Basic (I think) and the mouse pointer doesn't change when rolling over a button. I just want it to be as close to the real application as possible.

Thanks for your help Alex.
