Transparent background for anim GIF's

I just updated to XaraX. I only dabble with XARA but attempted to export an animation with invisible background. In the browser preview it was listed as a transparent GIF. When I import it to FrontPage over a background image it still has a white frame. Any help would be appreciated.

Check out the related topic in the XaraX forum. Apparently the folks at Xara decided to sacrifice transparency with animated gifs for the benefit of smaller file size. Once discovered, this created quite a stir in the forum with most people urging Xara to restore transparency.
