Corel is worth keeping afloat. It gives Microsoft a bit of run for it's money. Someone will save it.

Just wish they would sell PhotoPaint as a stand alone product again.

Painter is WAY to expensive and I love PhotoPaint. Oh well, PSP just released version 8, rebuilt from the ground up and I tried out the last beta before it was released and it's very very nice!!

So maybe I'll go for that!!

Interesting choice of words! Microsoft just sold their shares in Corel for $12.9 million. They brought the shares three years ago for $135 million!

    Dude!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Hey Jonathan, well if Vector is buying all of the shares up and there are willing sellers then it's better for them. I think Corel needs to be pulled back and retooled and I think all the folks that hold shares giving them up is a good idea. Microsoft owning shares in Corel never set well with me anyway, so GOOD!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
