set your camera to raw mode and then take your pics and then in ps open the file and you will get all different dialoge boxes. you can adjust every aspect of the pic.

here is a screen shot of ps with a raw file open. the pic is my dogs paw and is 11.5mb in raw format. once the adjustments are made and i click ok it turns it into a tiff which the file becomes about44mb. then you save it as a jpeg or whatever to get the file size down.

no it isnt a slr. but it is considered a slr type. i can add teleconverter, fisheye lens and filters to the lens.

SO that window pops up when you open a RAW image in Photoshop automatically? or do you have to enable it some place?

    Rian,

On the 20D, the basic settings don't save to raw format. You need to use the programable modes. So, if you have your camera set to save to JPEG and CR2, in the basic modes you will get JPEG. You can see the various options in the manual. The PS 2.4 plugin supports the 20D.

in your opinion, which camera would u get? cannon or, Konica Minolta ?

The reason why I went with the cannon is cuz of the lenes BUT, seeing is that you have been playing around with these cameras a little be longer than I have.......
thanks for all the help MIKE!
