Brush by Risto Klint (and ivan louette).
A first "Name based" brush for highly customizable design and with a gummy taste.
How to customize it ?
1. Draw and adjust your line;
2. convert it to shapes (Arrange>Convert Line to Shapes); the first difference you see is that the feathering of some inner objects come back;
3. open the Name Gallery (Ctrl+Shift+F9); you see a serie of names, they correspond to the different overlaid shape used to build each Viking (in fact the brush is composed of only three different Vikings);
4. now you can select and modify the settings separately for each of the three sorts of Vikings without ungrouping the objects; color, filling, transparency, ...and you can even add different kind of shadows to each selection !
5. You must only ungroup the objects if you want change the order they are overlaid.
6. You could also open the "New Brush Stroke" folder in the Line Gallery (F12), right click on the brush thumbnail, copy and paste the original shapes to your document and apply the changes to these ones. Then you could create a new brush with te modified objects.
