Read Errors ??

Hi! I like to make collages with Xara X and occasionally one will come up with an error message, something to this effect:

"A Read Error (Unknown) has occured"

...and the file won't open -- meaning I've lost all my work, anyone known any way to fix this ? Or what I might be doing wrong...

Welcome to the forum.
A read error would indicate that the file has become corrupted and Xara can't open it. One way of retrieving the file seems to be in windows backup files.
