Yesterday I was working with many duplicate shapes with graduated fills, all of a sudden I had flat fills, or so I thought. I thought something had corrupted the file. Close Xara, rebooted and went back the same thing. Opened a new blank page and cut and pasted everything from the 1st file and whoa and behold all the fills were graduated again.
Then by accident I discovered what the original problem was. The anti alias was just a tad under full on and that made the fills appear flat.
