Inspired by BCDeb's post using the Corn Brush and Gary's May tutorial + buttered corn tribute. I came up with this image.

that makes my mouth water! Did you make the corn with a brush? That butter reflects perfectly! Here's a challenge, try making it drip down eveywhere with the same effect! Looks great Soquili

Hi Steve,

Yes, I used a modified version of the corn brush. Added a little more detail to the kernals and made a bitmap copy before creating the brush.

I've seen your posts in the 3D forum, nice work!

You know someday they will devise a browser plugin which will allow the materialization of objects on your screen inside a small hardware device for your computer. Sortof like a replicator from star trek to assemble food from atoms ... I can't wait ... that corn would be gone if this was a reality now ..... until that day , I will have to scrounge about in the kitchen for a snack

Well done Soquili.

I'm especially impressed by your Jetsons salt shaker

David - A replicator would be nice; I had to settle for raiding the refridgerator too

Gary - I must of accidently carried off George and Jane's salt shaker; that's my story and I'm sticking to it

Soquili, I saw your tut and it looks great!

The corn on that plate looks delicious, indeed.

How about a slightly burnt BBQ'd one?; with garlic butter, salt and pepper!

Wow! - now I'm hungry.

Hi Risto,

I may have left this on the grill too long

there's nothing more attractive on food than melted dripping butter!! mmmmm, it's so bad for you though, ugh! God's so cruel! Dontcha just love licking the butter and salt off your lips after you're done eating corn!? Great job, blends together beautifully! Burnt effect looks good too, reminds me of camp-outs with my family cooking corn over the fire.
Thanx for the compliments on the 3D!
