Does anyone happen to know what is the exact RGB in hex of the blue color of the background (wallpaper) of Windows 2000 ?
I kind of like that soft eye-pleasing blue.
(Bonus question: Is that color considered a "web safe" color ?)

Here Xorro, use this program to find out on your own
It's small, NO install, just put it where ever you want on your hard drive and create a short-cut to it.
Very useful!
Mark...
You could always just:
1 press the "PrtScn" button on your keyboard
2 Open Photoshop
3 Press Ctrl-N for a new drawing, and press enter to accept the size.
4 Press Ctrl-V to paste the screenshot into the new drawing
5 Use the colour picker to find the colour.
Wow, this seems complicated...
