TG adrift?

Each TG click action is taking 10 seconds.

Separately, someone else cannot access at all with a 503.

@Xara, your servers need a little TLC.

Anyone else who can access, please advise how good your service is.

I have seen more database errors here in the last 36 hours than I have in the previous 15 years

The errors visually look like old Internet Explorer error messages, they're kind of quaint in their retro aesthetic... though knowing how old and outdated the EOL'd forum software itself is, I'd guess that rather than being "retro", the decade-old error style is probably more of an "original feature".

I expressed concern at the age and safety of the software used here at the end of January via Xara Cloud support and they said "It is being looked at"

Fingers crossed: I'm more concerned at the possible loss of a useful resource than I am a data breach, but I know that's not how the Information Commissioner would see it.

Daniel, as a retired IT prof, I too have bashed my gums over Xara's intransigence over several years. TG direly needs an uplift.

I did also ping Xara for an update. Currently, all seems good here but it has been playing up for the last day.

OK today but a slight lag.

@Xara reported back that it had 'a spike in high usage' and all was normal without 'any performance issues'.

From my viewpoint, the outage was short but it seemed to affect others at different times.
The delay for new HTTP requests was in the seconds over a far longer period.

Also curious why Pinging www.talkgraphics.com [206.189.23.77] times out, whereas Pinging xara.com [172.67.75.121] works.
