    WOW.
    I can't remember the name of the toy. You looked through a hole of a tube/carton. Spun it around and it made different patterens.

    Rik, a kaleidoscope. The toy had two flat mirrors usually fixed at 60 degrees. The base was two rounds glass flats with glitter, fragments and shapes, usually suspended in oil. The assemblies could all be rotated.

    That’s a game I play! - trying to remember names and things that crop up in conversation, without looking them up. The mind is a wonderful thing, because often I know whether if I've got much of a chance of remembering or not.
