Default Adding Sign In or Register to a website (Xara Designer Pro +)

Greetings. I did try searching for the above topic, but did not see any answers.

Question: How do I and can I add the "Sign In or Register" to my Property Owner's Association website?

I looked in my Jotforms and there are sign up or register for an event form, but not what I need.

This is a link to an association near me. https://www.countryside8775.com/ At the top is the Sign In or Register links that I need.
I shouldn't register since I am not part of a HOA I can't see what form they used. Also how do keep out people who aren't part of the POA?

If you can, just answer where and if I can find the form & can it be added to my website?

Thank you so much for reading my ramblings,
    Lisa Ann

Lisa, you are confusing forms with a user management system.

Registration creates a user profile and password of their choice.
Xara cannot do this. it can only connect to a server using PHP and MySQL and lots of code to enable registration.

The simpler part then is the Login where the UserName and Password is verified against the existing record.
    Xara cannot do this either.

At a really basic level for a 'Sign In', you can lock access to on-line folders and pages with the tools your server provider offers.
In a nutshell for an apache server, each protected folder or would have an .htaccess file.
Each .htaccess file would have commands that point to an .htpasswd file that holders the valid users UserName and encrypted Password.
Then you would have to manage the password management for each applicant manually. An example of some of the complexity: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...ifferent-users

There is no 'magic' form that does any of this. JotForm offers Login and Registration Forms but does not handle any user management.

You might be better porting your site into WordPress where user management is easily enabled with a number of widgets.

The footer at the bottom of your nearby residents' association website shows that they use the third-party system from https://www.hoa-express.com/

You're probably best served with a Xara-produced public website and a private Facebook Group for your residents to speak with each other. Realisitcally most people will have a Facebook login already, many will use it reguralry, and you'll be able to exchange the information you need that way. The people who don't use Facebook wouldn't register for a special website anyway, and those who are militantly against Facebook are probably the same ones that you don't want to associate with, anyway.

Don't make things complicated because people won't want to spend long learning what they're supposed to do, and you'll end up running everything forever too, if it's too specific. Let a couple of other people be Facebook Admins for your private Group and keep it simple.

    Rather a brave assumption minister

Personally I only use facebook when someone has assumed everyone else does and it's the only way to get the info; it's not a personal account that I use

that said I'm all for keeping things simple

Exactly: we don't have to like it, or use it often, but where it is used, we don't miss out. It has a reach that nothing else gets close to, and it's reasonable to expect everyone either does use it, could use it, or has a friend, relative, or neighbour who would know how to help - using whatever is avaialble, phone, tablet, laptop, computer, or anything inbetween... with little work or knowledge needed by anyone.

@Daniel, I took the OP ask to be specifically about user/password accesses.
I had assumed @Lisa's design was already in place.

I failed to realise HOA was its own ecosystem (in the States) and that there were so many domain-specific applications for their support.
At $360/y for the Deluxe (ad free) version, I am sure there is a break-even point for such a product.

I clearly don't have the instinct to spot markets as some people do, and exploit.
