Default Xara Designer Pro+ (subscription) vs Designer v20 Desktop

I have Xara Designer Pro X (v19) and have been off support for over a year. This wasn't a problem until I recently attempted to access the Online Content Catalogue (Elements) to bring in a new slider component into my existing web design and discovered this is no longer available. I looked at upgrading to v20 non-subscriber version, but it looks like that 'upgrade' EXCLUDES the elements component - which would be precisely the point of me upgrading. Is there an option available whereby I can either get v20 + Elements or else just subscribe to the Elements with my existing v19?

V20 Perpetual comes with it's own built in subset of components so it works without needing Elements. It does not get updated so you may not even get the slider you need. It is likely it will be there.
    There may be a v21...someday.

You cannot use Elements with v19 as Xara won't offer that as its use requires the newer application.

Thanks, Acorn. Is there a v20 feature sheet on the Xara.com site somewhere? They are definitely pushing the plus products over the one-time purchase ones. I would hate to drop $210USD for v20 and find out I am pooched on having access to the Design Gallery / Online Content Catalogue / Elements; widgets that I need to bring into my web site design. I get the whole reasoning behind them moving to subscription based services, but I am a small operator and only manage a couple of sites and the monthly spend doesn't make sense for me.

I have v20 - as acorn says it comes with a fixed subset of components that are not updated; there is no access to elements and so you miss out on the updates and new stuff; you also wait for for bug fixes, in some cases we are still waiting

I have pro+ as well and v20 is a fall back position, but I don't do websites - I think that if i did, I would definitely prefer pro+ because of it keeping up to date, but the choice of course is yours, at least you are not going to lose anything from v20

Much appreciated for the additional feedback!
