Create Bitmap Copy default color depth?

How can I change the default Create Bitmap Copy default from + Alpha to True Color?

I haven't checked but this has come up before and I am fairly certain there isn't one

Imagine the chaos such a Registry setting would have.
The Xara developer made a choice of deepest down to least. It will be hard-coded in the application.

You might ask for a Keep Last Used option, possibly across all downloads for an easier approach but even here there will be complainers.

An ask for a recordable Macro for Keystrokes would be the ultimate, oh!, apart from Master Pages...

I drown in the options offered in Affinity. Plodding though Xara's UI might appear, the workflow speed is superior.

keep last used, for session, would get my vote

I think comparing the workflow between affinity and xara very much depends on what you are doing and how much you use each program

not sure that this request would cause any more chaos than any other registry option, but I grant it wiil likely be in deep code

and master pages, cannot understand why xara does not have these, or a method of cut/paste between pages; yet it lets you add stuff to a locked layer which means the layer is not really locked [insert scratching head smiley here]

The function seems inconsistent with other related behavior. If I export a bitmap in one file format it will continue to export in that file format. Even when I close the app and come back in again.

So if the app can remember my last exported file format, then it should be able to remember my last used setting on Create Bitmap Copy.

This is certainly not something I am going to lose sleep over. It's just something IMO that needs to be looked at.
