    Default Locked out of forum

    Hello Again (with a different name)

    I have had to acquire a new email address in order to re-register with this forum under a new name as my previous persona IanB found myself unable to access the forum in any way. This happened when I acquired a new laptop. I tried logging on during the last month with different e-mails (3) I had used previously and my username. In every case, after some confusion over what the passwords were, I was asked to contact the administrators and promised that I would receive an e-mail allowing me to reset my passwords. No emails ever arrived and I literally was ‘locked out’ of the forum. There may be a technical problem here that needs sorting and I may not be the only one lost to the forum in this way.

    Ian, you would receive an email to the validated email your membership has.
    It is ian@e***ib***e.me.***

    If you open https://www.talkgraphics.com/login.php?do=lostpw and add the full email address then your reset details will be delivered to the same email address.

    If you cannot access that email then advise here.
    I will then contact your directly to your newly registered email address and work out something.

    The link you sent has worked this time.

    Previously I got to the Password Recovery Request Form and entered an email but then heard nothing (not even a mention that the email had not been recognised). I did try the e-mail address that has just worked previously without success but perhaps it was an error on my part during the hassle of setting up a new computer and getting tied up in knots with passwords, Come to think of it I first lost touch with the forum when I was instructed to change my password and didn't manage to do so successfully. I do keep all my passwords in a Password Manager which should keep things up to date but inevitably this is far from fool-proof.
    Anyway, I'm glad to be back as this forum has been very helpful to me over the years.

    Just to add to the puzzle I discovered the following message in my NordPass Password Manager for the talkgraphics entry when I went to enter my new password. I haven't a clue what it means! There was no password recorded.

    Promised response from OnMessage listener went out of scope.
