Here's an image I just did using PhotoImpact6. It's a purely unrepresentational image (some people use the term abstract). I find it has an optical effect that's slightly uncomfortable.

    I love it David!

    It's got that whole, birthing process/fading footprint in a pool of blood/creation of a star look to it.

    Really amazing.

    Very pretty!

    I love the drama. and I think Thomas hit upon some of the same phrases I would have.

    Thanks for sharing this.

    Thanks ... I agree , it does have that primordial nebula feel to it :-)

    Interestingly , I discovered something surprizing about this image the other day. I had inadvertantly used this image as a generator image in geneticFX program. The resultant image was this one here ;

    http://www.dkingdesign.com/stuff/pho...ated_image.jpg

    which I took into PhotoImpact (after a short stop in Painter Classic for a texture effect) to make into this one ;

    I didn't even realize this until the similarity between the eye areas on the finished demon and the one posted here became apparent.

    I'm finding this GeneticFX program is very interesting and leads to some new ideas (I'm sure there are many more similar programs to make "random" images).

    Thanks ... but I'm not sure if I'd call the above demon beautiful ;-) ...

    It's good to see you've brought some much needed activity into the PI board here :-)
