Custom Dash Patterns

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in whether it is (or ever will be) possible to have user-created dash patterns in Xara Photo & Graphic Desgner. I found this thread from back in 2012:

that suggests using scatter brushes instead. I have tried this, and it kind of works, but I've discovered that in Inkscape I can define my own dash pattern by entering the sizes of the dashes and spaces, and that works much better for what I am trying to do. Is there any hope that we might get something like that in Xara? Or are there other ways of doing the same thing?
