Default Getting too old for this

Sorry guys, and gals, another simple stupid question. Have been experimenting with backgrounds for web site and got to the point where in the page and layer gallery the page names shown have all suddenly disappeared. Can set them in the properties but still not shown on the slide out menu. Also need to anchor a design I've made for a footer but cannot make it anchor to page bottom and move with page length changes
Just treat me as thick please as it is driving me mad

Ken, normally I would suggest Run as administrator but i assume this fault has occurred a time after you installed Perpetual.
Check you have a Web document open.
Also check if it is a Transition one.
Either of these could stop the page title showing somewhere.

    Select all the Footer elements.
Ensure is is Repeat on all pages.
Right-click > autofit to page > untick Automatic and set Vertical Bottom.

I also take it you've done the obvious and closed Xara & reopened it Ken. Very strange to see these types of bugletts remain after closing Xara down.

Thanks egg as usual looking after the aged and infirmed of waining faculties. Found the sheet names had disappeared from under each page so I increased the page and layer gallery width and there they were at the side returned width to original and they returned under each page

Working on footer now and your sage advice is of course working. Apologies for my petty query

I'm glad to hear you've managed to sort one issue out Ken. Re the footer: Didn't Acorns reply sort this? If not what Xara product are you using?

Ken, please note, the objects making up the footer need to be placed at the bottom of the page originally. You can't just grab some elements anywhere on the page, soft group them, make them repeating, then set the vertical position to bottom to force it to the bottom. They need to already be at the bottom of the page.

Hi apologies for delay in giving thanks and yes, all sorted and working well. Ken, thank you for bringing us up to speed.

It's just like exercising, leave it for a handful of days and you get flappy.
