    Default Blocks Page Height

As of 24.3 I can no longer manually adjust the page height.
Look at the mobile variant of the attached.

Sending to Xara as well as here.

Chris, it comes with the new territory of "Modular Websites are intended to be built entirely from Web Blocks".
As a result a page necessarily will only grow or shrink with the number and sizing of your WBs.

You add a Blank as a filler or drag down as existing WB.

Too many balls in the air.
Definitely nothing you can teach let along demonstrate, only suffer on your own.

That page IS built entirely of Blocks. The page length didn't shrink when I resized the Block. 9 times out of 10 the page length follows the last Block, but not always. I have simply dragged the page height before, but 24.3 appears to have removed that ability.

Page Options > Paper > Page size and set the size to 48px.

This resets the page to the smallest holding all the WBs.

What an amazing, logical mind you have Mr. 'Acorn' Spock.

I'll simply have to uninstall Xara if you ever decide to leave the forum.

    Matt replied to my query:
Cut the Block, then paste it back.

Worked perfectly, and quick and simple.

Yet, without your update, Matt has left all the others stuck with the problem well adrift.
How many users actually follow TG? How many have followed your excellent expose? How many are even willing to recognise the problem, yet along attempt a fix?

Xara needs to offer up a How To manual to help people to grasp the fundamentals, especially with WBs.

Ohhjeee.

Weiß da jemand was genaueres?

Oh dear. Since I have a very large page with a mixture of WB and freehand, I can no longer change the page length.. am I seeing that correctly?
    This is terrible.
Until you understand what the WBs do and how they work, I designed everything by hand a thousand times faster.

Will it be possible again in a next version? The tip here doesn't help me because I have (from top to bottom in the layer gallery: WB, free, free, free, WB, free, free; partly rejecting, partly shared with the mobile version, but sometimes not.) I know Anyone have more details? VG Marboe

marboe, just add in a Blank Transparent Freehand Web Block.

Drop all your objects not already in a WB into this or any number of Freehand WBs (as above).
Any WB can be selected and its bottom control dragged down to make it and the page taller.

Oh, thank you very much. I'll test that. It would save me a lot of work.
    Many greetings from Germany. Marboe
