Interactive Text Size?

If you select multiple objects with different font sizes in them the button greys out but after it has been greyed once, simpler selections don't ungrey the button as they should.

If you switch to a different document and back again then the button will ungrey.

that's so, except in my perpetual version even when the button ungreys after switching back, it grey again when I switch to select tool and then back to text tool....

@PhilM, I have just tried the mode you describe and more besides and mine still works.

Different sizes.
Mixed fonts, admittedly web safe ones.
Range of Paragraph Styles.
Scattering of Character Styles.
A medley of the above.

This only works for me if the Text tool is already selected when the new document opens.

Try to double click to select the text. Somehow , though the cursor is inside the text and blinking, Xara assumes not all text should be changed. Double clicking selects all text and then the slider will work.

Michael, this might be of use for those without the Plus version releases that include Bug fixes.

For the record:
a double-click will only select the word under the cursor.
a triple click is for the line.
a quadruple-click is for the paragraph.
There is nothing for all the text unless you click at the start and drag to the end.

If you use keys, then:
Ctrl+L, selects a line as does Ctrl+Click.
Ctrl+A, all the text but a fun one is when the cursor is active, you press Esc and all the text is selected but not visibly.
To select multiple text areas, use the Selector tool and then switch to the Text tool.

Use then to select some text then Copy (Ctrl+C).
Select some other text and Paste Attributes (Shift+Ctrl+A).

I doubt any of the above will unlock the Interactive size but knowing them provides alterative methods of working that might help.
