    Default Installation problem

    3D Moviemaker will not install. Too bad I cannot install the trial version. After the second screen it disappears-crashes. Buying it is not a sure bet as it may do the same thing and I am out the money. They need to fix it ASAP. Windows 10 64bit OS.

    3D Moviemaker is not a Xara product. Are you thinking of Xara's 3D Maker 7?
    This was last released in 2011 and, yes, there still is a trial. If you think about it, it is a 32-bit product you are probably trying to run on a 64-bit machine. Try using Compatibility Mode.

    Who needs to fix what?

    Hi Acorn, I've never got Xara 3D Maker 7 to run on my new Windows 11 machine, it always crashed. Your post above was a light-bulb moment. I ran it in Compatibility mode (windows 7) and it runs a treat thanks.

    Do you see any error messages before it crashes, or does it just close without any prompt?
