Is that how AddOn domains work??? I've never used them
Neither have I Chris but I'm sure Acorn will point us in the right direction.

I’ll wrestle with this tomorrow, same time same station. Just a clarification.

Northeastanglicans.ca is not a site that I promote. It’s just a site with two sub domains.

The active sites are allsaintsmelfort.ca and Stmatthewstisdale.ca. I’ve already sent the All Saints files to the North East folder already. Error on my part.

So … the index html go to the public file, and subsequent files head to All Saints, or st Matthew’s.. correct?

And …. Can I move folders around on the service providers end ?

We're in danger of crossing wires here. The way you have written All Saints and St Matthews makes me think you have bought the domain names, but not purchased any hosting to upload the files to?

Not sure where northeastanglicans comes into it, but you definitely own the domain name and you've purchased hosting. If that's the case, forget the full URL for both All Saints and St Matthews. The URLs are only needed to point to specific hosting, and you don't have hosting for those 2.

If I'm wrong, let me know the setup you have.

Steaming ahead on the presumption the above scenario is right.
The first pic of the folder structure is where to upload your sub-sites.
The second pic is how the files should look when entering the allsaints or stmatthews folders.

Don't answer that, I've been caught in a rip and dragged way off topic. I apologise.
Chris, rip or rabbit-hole, it's is important to establish what's what.

If you pay for a new domain, you can also buy its hosting. This might be expensive.

The alternative is to lodge the new domain as an AddOn domain to your existing hosting service, providing it is with the same Registrar.
You pick a subdomain name, which necessarily is added as a sub folder in your root's public_html folder.
You are then in a position to reference the new domain directly, its own URL, or still as a subdomain, church01.<root URL>.

Sub domains are added into the public_html folder as if they are higher they are not visible unless you are adept and setting file and folder permissions.

This is a nutshell (not an Acorn's thankfully). It is probably way more complicated.

Thanks Chris. That first pic is the one I needed. I get it now.

Northeastanglicans is a domain. The site is inactive but I’m using it for space for allsaints Melfort and stmatthews.

So I ended up figuring the whole thing out.
    - I’ve found that I cannot move the SP file folders around, so I couldn’t line things up as Chris did.
    - public_html is made for the host folder only, not the sub folders
    - I replace the index_html in both active websites.
    - I also included all remaining files INSIDE the index/html folder for the respective websites.

Then everything worked. Both sites stmatthews and Allsaints.

It was puzzling why the Xara uploader worked fine for stmatthews, but not Allsaints which I had to massage using FLZ. I’ll be rather glad when the hosting for northeastanglicans runs out and I can separate these two churches.

Thanks all for solving a somewhat confusing situation.
